I’m running for County Clerk-Recorder to give back, uphold the law, and ensure every resident’s voice is heard and counted. The duties of this office demand impartiality and a deep respect for due process. I am committed to serving every resident with that same level of professionalism.
A Life of Service, Leadership & Integrity.
My Roots in San Luis Obispo County. My journey in San Luis Obispo County began in 1992 when my husband Mike and I chose Grover Beach as our home. For over 35 years, our life together has been a journey of love and support, raising our two wonderful sons, Troy and Bryan, and now delighting in our cherished grandchildren, Milo and Oliver. Our family deepened its roots on the Central Coast when we became franchise owners of N-Hance Wood Refinishing, Inc. in 2006, later opening our local shop in Oceano. This entrepreneurial journey has given me invaluable experience in managing operations, prioritizing customer service, and ensuring fiscal responsibility required to run an efficient, trusted organization.

The County Clerk-Recorder is more than just the person in charge of elections. This essential office serves as a cornerstone of county government, quietly supporting the structure of our democracy and the accurate documentation of our lives. It oversees:

Birth and Death Records
Property & Other Official Records

I will vigilantly protect the nonpartisan nature of this essential role. This includes working to eliminate the disenfranchising of voter precincts, lobbying against gerrymandering, and holding candidates accountable for campaign fraud by utilizing the Public Integrity Unit.

I will serve with unwavering transparency, professionalism, and integrity. My office will operate with an open-door policy (where legally permissible), fostering public trust in every process.

Fair, Legal, and Ethical Elections: I am dedicated to ensuring fair, legal, and ethical elections for all residents. My commitments include:
VOTE CENTERS: Cast your district's ballot at any Vote Center.
An on-demand paper ballot will be printed with the candidates and measures for your district.
Complete your ballot in a private voting booth, then place it in the secure, locked ballot box
VOTE YOUR DISTRICT'S BALLOT
AT ANY PRECINCT: Only your name, address, and date of birth are required. The electronic poll book will instantly record that you have cast your ballot, helping ensure that each voter votes only once.
TRANSPARENT ELECTIONS: After a paper ballot is cast, it is placed in a secure, locked ballot box. The box remains sealed until it is transported to the County Clerk and Recorder's Office, where it is opened and processed under surveillance cameras and established chain-of-custody procedures.
