Meet Vanessa Rozo: A Life of Service, Leadership & Integrity
My Roots in San Luis Obispo County
My journey in San Luis Obispo County began in 1992 when my husband Mike and I chose Grover Beach as our home. For over 35 years, our life together has been a journey of love and support, raising our two wonderful sons, Troy and Bryan, and now delighting in our cherished grandchildren, Milo and Oliver. Our family deepened its roots on the Central Coast when we became franchise owners of N-Hance Wood Refinishing, Inc. in 2006, later opening our local shop in Oceano. This entrepreneurial journey has given me invaluable experience in managing operations, prioritizing customer service, and ensuring fiscal responsibility required to run an efficient, trusted organization.

Ensuring Fair, Secure, and Accessible Elections:
I am dedicated to enhancing confidence in our election processes for all residents. My commitments include:
Maintaining Accurate Voter Rolls: Continuously working to ensure our voter lists are current and accurate, which is fundamental to a well-run election. Implementing a robust integrative data system that connects the county's voters register.
Promoting Voter Accessibility: Supporting practical measures that make it easy and secure for every eligible citizen to cast their ballot, including clear identification practices at voting locations. Empowering Local Election Workers: Ensuring all election staff are thoroughly vetted, certified, and receive comprehensive training to tabulate votes with professionalism and impartiality, upholding the integrity of every ballot.
Protect recorded Property Titles
Commitment to Transparency and Professionalism: I will lead the Clerk-Recorder's office with unwavering transparency, professionalism, and integrity. My aim is to operate an office that is open, accountable, and serves as a trusted resource for all residents seeking vital information and services.
Upholding Public Trust in Government Services: My goal is to foster and maintain the highest level of public trust in both our election processes and the accurate management of public records. Protect recorded Property Titles. I believe a well-run administrative office is key to community confidence.
Protecting the Impartiality of the Office: I am committed to preserving the nonpartisan nature of this essential administrative role. This involves continuously reviewing and advocating for best practices that ensure fairness and equitable representation in our electoral processes, and working with all stakeholders to strengthen the democratic foundations of our county.
